Job Summary:

Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
L2/L3 application support
for business-critical applications.
Monitor application performance, availability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
Manage production deployments, patching, and version upgrades.
Maintain documentation related to issues, solutions, and processes.
Participate in on-call rotation and ensure 24x7 availability for critical applications.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–8 years of experience in
Application Support / Production Support
.
Strong understanding of
SQL / PL-SQL
and experience in writing complex queries.
Hands-on experience with
Linux / Unix commands
and shell scripting.
Exposure to
ITIL processes
(Incident, Change, Problem management).
Familiarity with
monitoring tools
(e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Nagios, etc.).
Knowledge of
job scheduling tools
(e.g., Control-M, Autosys) is an advantage.
Experience in
API / Web services
support and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the
Banking / Financial / Telecom / Healthcare
domain.
Knowledge of
Cloud environments (AWS / Azure)
.
Immediate joiners or candidates with 15 days notice period will be preferred.
