Position: Sr. Application Support Engineer (L2)Company:

Role Overview:

Provide
L2 Application Support
for custom-built and off-the-shelf applications.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
Analyse and debug application logs to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Write and optimize
complex SQL queries
, create views, joins, and indexes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, DBAs, Network, etc.) for issue resolution.
Document incidents, root cause analysis, and escalation details.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive-level updates.
Proactively identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures.
Work with ticketing tools like
JIRA, Salesforce, ServiceNow
.
Ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs in a high-pressure environment.

Required Skills

3+ years
in Application Support / Production Support.
Strong knowledge of
MySQL
and relational databases.
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (queries, joins, views, indexing).
Familiarity with
Web Applications
, Apache, SSO, ADFS, AD, SFTP.
Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, Salesforce, etc.).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in
247 rotational shifts
.

Good to Have

Experience with
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Exposure to PHP-based applications.
