Description
As a Product Support Representative at FIS, you will work closely with clients to offer comprehensive product support. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, and product application. Your role involves providing in-depth product support, conducting research to address client issues, troubleshooting problems with equipment and software applications, and suggesting corrective actions. Additionally, you will be documenting customer information and recurring technical issues to contribute to product quality programs and development. To excel in this position, prior banking experience is preferred. You should possess strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. The ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Knowledge of FIS products would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support for application errors, database issues, and system performance - Collaborate with teams for issue escalation and resolution - Monitor system logs, performance, and alerts for issue identification and resolution - Conduct SIT and UAT testing for change requests and incident fixes - Assist in deployments, system updates, and configuration changes - Ensure completion of all documentation and prerequisites before deployment as per CAB requirements - Work closely with developers, clients, and vendors to resolve complex issues - Participate in disaster recovery drills and apply patches or updates as necessary - Communicate technical updates to business users and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a product support role - Understanding of the financial services industry - Proficiency in SQL queries or other relational databases - Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments - Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management) - Strong communication and coordination skills Desired Skills: - Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) - Knowledge of FIS products and services - Awareness of industry standards (ISO, CMM) At FIS, we offer exceptional benefits, including opportunities for innovation in fintech, tools for personal and professional growth, an inclusive and diverse work environment, resources for community investment, competitive salary, and benefits.
