The Premium University Application Counsellor is responsible for guiding students through the entire application process to top-tier universities across the globe. This role is tailored for individuals who have deep knowledge of prestigious universities, competitive programs, and rigorous application procedures. As a key part of the consultancy team, you will assist students in selecting the right universities, creating compelling applications, and optimizing their chances of securing admissions to highly competitive and premium institutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in academic advising, university admissions, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals at world-renowned institutions. Key Responsibilities: Premium University Admissions Guidance: - Provide expert counselling and personalized guidance to students aiming for top-tier universities and competitive academic programs. - Help students identify the best-fit universities and academic programs based on their academic profile, career goals, and personal preferences. - Advise students on the selection of courses, extracurricular activities, and research opportunities that will enhance their candidacy for premium universities. - Ensure that students understand the specific requirements of each university (e.g., standardized test scores, GPA, recommendation letters, personal statements) and provide guidance on how to meet or exceed these criteria. Application Strategy & Development: - Assist students in crafting compelling application materials including Statement of Purpose (SOP), Personal Statements, Essays, CVs, and Recommendation Letters tailored to each university's unique requirements. - Guide students on how to highlight their strengths, experiences, and aspirations effectively to meet the expectations of top-tier universities. - Provide detailed advice on preparing for and excelling in interviews, especially for highly selective institutions that require interviews as part of the admissions process. Application & Documentation Process: - Manage and oversee the application process for students applying to multiple premium universities, ensuring that all deadlines are met and all documents are submitted accurately and promptly. - Review and edit students application documents to ensure they meet the highest standards and are fully aligned with the expectations of prestigious institutions. - Provide guidance on the preparation of financial documents, scholarships, and other supporting materials required for applications. - Offer insights into admissions trends, statistics, and practices at top universities to provide students with a competitive edge. Interview Preparation & Mock Sessions: - Conduct mock interviews with students to help them prepare for interviews with prestigious universities, ensuring they are confident, articulate, and able to present themselves effectively. - Provide personalized feedback and actionable tips to improve students" interview performance. - Offer guidance on body language, speaking techniques, and handling challenging questions during interviews. Scholarship & Financial Aid Support: - Advise students on available scholarships, grants, and financial aid options for studying at premium universities. - Assist students in identifying and applying for merit-based scholarships or need-based financial aid opportunities. - Guide students on how to demonstrate financial need or secure sponsorships for their education. Post-Admission Support: - Provide support to students once they have received offers, including guidance on deciding between multiple offers, negotiating offers, and preparing for visa applications. - Offer pre-departure services such as advice on accommodation, cultural adaptation, insurance, and travel arrangements for students preparing to study abroad. - Stay in touch with students after they leave, helping them transition to university life and providing post-admission support as needed. Building Relationships with Universities: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with admissions officers and representatives from prestigious universities to stay up-to-date on the latest admissions requirements and trends. - Attend university fairs, webinars, and other networking events to build rapport with university representatives and stay informed about changes in application procedures, deadlines, and requirements. Continuous Research & Knowledge Sharing: - Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in university admissions globally, especially for top-tier institutions. - Regularly attend workshops, webinars, and training programs to expand knowledge of global education systems, university rankings, and competitive programs. - Share insights and best practices with the consultancy team to improve the overall service offering. Key Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Education, International Relations, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. - Certification in Education Consultancy or University Admissions (e.g., ICEF, British Council, or other recognized qualifications) is preferred. Experience: - 5+ years of experience in university admissions consulting, ideally with a focus on premium, competitive universities. - Proven experience working with high-achieving students applying to top-tier universities globally (e.g., USA, UK, Europe, Australia, Canada,etc.). - A strong understanding of the specific requirements and selection processes for premium universities. - Familiarity with advanced application strategies for competitive fields such as law, medicine, business, and engineering. Skills: - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and university admissions staff. - Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple applications and meet tight deadlines. - Expertise in reviewing application materials and providing constructive feedback. - Deep understanding of global university admissions trends and requirements, particularly for prestigious universities. - Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and families. - Proficiency in CRM software and other tools for managing student profiles, applications, and progress tracking.,

Role & responsibilities Strategic Planning: Define the overall IT application strategy, roadmap, and budget to support business objectives. Identify opportunities for application modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions to optimize application portfolio. Application Management: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical enterprise applications. Manage application lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and ongoing support. Monitor application performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. Must be able to interpret and integrate information and conduct root cause analysis when performance deviates from established service levels, leading to permanent remediation plans. Strong attention to detail along with sharp analytical skills to identify problems. Perform frequent audit checks to ensure system compliance and performance levels. Prepare and review weekly audit reports. Management of monitoring applications to ensure effective alerting of critical application workflow issues, security events, and performance degradation of the systems. Continually work to identify new technologies and enhance current technologies to improve client services. Communicate regularly with supervisor on IT initiatives, deliverables and ensure all meet/exceed target. Ensure policy & procedures are being followed. Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned or required. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field Proven experience managing complex IT application portfolios and teams Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) Expertise in various application technologies that relate to Pharma/Healthcare.
