As an Application Scientist - Pharmaceutical based in Bengaluru, India, you will work closely with various departments to develop HPLC/UHPLC applications supporting the Generic Pharmaceutical industry. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with R&D, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to create marketing literature, providing customer support and in-lab development, and conducting chiral screens. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to develop HPLC/UHPLC applications for the Generic Pharmaceutical industry - Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to generate technically sound marketing literature - Support customers through consultations and in-lab development, including chiral screens **Qualifications Required:** - B.Sc in Chemistry/ B.Pharm with 7 years of HPLC/UHPLC experience OR M.Sc. in Chemistry/M.Pharm with 5 years of HPLC/UHPLC experience - Prior experience in an analytical R&D laboratory, preferably in chiral method development - Experience with HPLC-UV/DAD/ELSD, UHPLC-UV, and other assays for pharmaceutical formulations - Thorough understanding of stationary phase characteristics and method development parameters - Strong written and oral communication skills, public speaking proficiency, and interpersonal and organizational skills - Willingness to relocate if necessary and travel up to 30% **Additional Company Details:** Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, offers comprehensive and competitive benefit programs that enhance work-life balance.
