Application Manager

Role Overview: As an Application Manager with 10+ years of experience in analysis, design, development, and support of IT solutions, you will be responsible for establishing the support and operations for a given set of IT solutions. You will closely collaborate with Functional & Technical Teams during the Design & Implementation Phases to ensure sustainable choices for future operational use. Additionally, you will lead in building and guiding the operations team to meet SLA/SLEs and ensure effective communication with Business/Process Owners for solution continuity. Your role will also involve generating periodic reports on solution usage, performance, and health, utilizing necessary reporting tools and ITSM processes. Furthermore, you will establish governance with third-party suppliers/vendors and create roadmaps for solutions to maintain reliability and stability. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and lead support & operations for IT solutions - Collaborate with Functional & Technical Teams for sustainable design choices - Guide operations team to meet SLA/SLEs and ensure solution continuity - Generate reports on solution performance and health - Establish governance with third-party suppliers/vendors - Create roadmaps for solutions to ensure reliability and stability - Maintain good network with Application Managers community for E2E continuity Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field - 10+ years of experience in analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining Enterprise IT solutions - Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience in Java, Angular, Spring, SQL, DB2 - 5+ years of experience in leading and guiding Developers/Business Analysts - Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable applications with Enterprise tooling - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to define and elaborate roadmaps for IT solutions - Certification in Application Management (e.g., ITIL 4) is preferred - Experience in managing applications on-premise and cloud, preferably Azure - Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Jira, Azure DevOps, and SAFe principles,
