Summary:We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Production Planning module to streamline production processes and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME.- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Analyze business requirements related to production planning and translate them into SAP PP solutions.- Configure and customize SAP PP components including Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Work Centers, Routing, and Capacity Planning.- Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and PM.- Assist with SAP PP system testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).- Provide training and documentation for end-users.- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP issues.- Collaborate with production, planning, and supply chain teams to optimize manufacturing processes.- Stay updated with SAP PP best practices, tools, and latest updates including SAP S/4HANA.- Assist in process improvements and automation in production planning workflows. Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.- Ability to analyze and optimize production workflows.- Familiarity with integration points between SAP and other enterprise systems.- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PP module configuration and support.- Strong understanding of production planning concepts such as MRP, BOM, routing, work centers, and capacity planning.- Experience with integration points between PP and other SAP modules (MM, EWM, SD, QM).- Experience with Staging, Pre-weigh and Package Handling Unit process.- Knowledge of discrete and process manufacturing environments is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills for collaboration with business and technical teams.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.- SAP PP Certification and Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.- Knowledge of SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) is an advantage.- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Just-in-Time (JIT) production concepts.- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications related to PP.- Exposure to SAP ABAP or UI5 for custom reports and dashboards is a bonus.
