Application Engineer (Data Scientist)

As an Application Engineer at Tookitakis in the Services Delivery Team, your primary role will be to configure the FinCense platform to meet client-specific requirements. Your responsibilities will include product configuration and customization, data science and analytics support, technical expertise and issue resolution, collaboration and cross-functional alignment, as well as continuous improvement and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Product Configuration and Customization - Configure the FinCense platform based on client-specific requirements and workflows. - Implement data science models, algorithms, and workflows tailored to client use cases. - Collaborate with Client Enablement and Deployment Engineers to ensure readiness for go-live. - Data Science and Analytics Support - Assist in designing and optimizing data pipelines for real-time and batch processing. - Configure algorithms for AML and fraud detection, and validate model performance. - Technical Expertise and Issue Resolution - Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate client data and optimize platform performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to data ingestion and processing. - Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment - Partner with Client Enablement team to deliver training and support deployments. - Work closely with Product Management to provide feedback on enhancements. - Continuous Improvement and Documentation - Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and issue resolutions. - Develop templates, FAQs, and guides to support teams and identify process improvements. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in configuring SaaS platforms or data-intensive systems. - Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Big Data frameworks, programming languages, and cloud infrastructure. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AML or fraud detection platforms is advantageous. - Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Big Data frameworks are beneficial.
