Job Description

You will be a valuable member of our team as an ITAM/ServiceNow Specialist. Your role will involve implementing ServiceNow's Software Asset Management (SAM) Pro and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Pro modules in various implementations. To excel in this position, you must have a strong grasp of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles, ServiceNow development, and possess relevant certifications. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing end-to-end SAM operations, including software data quality checks, data processing, and reporting. - Developing integrations to collect software license and usage data from SAAS and custom applications. - Configuring ServiceNow Software Asset Workspace for publishers. - Establishing the SAM program's operating model, resource requirements, policies, and documenting processes. - Implementing best practices for license consumption reporting using SAM tools. - Proposing and executing improvement initiatives in software asset and license compliance procedures. Basic Qualifications: - Demonstrated hands-on experience of 2-6 years in ServiceNow SAM Pro with a comprehensive understanding of SAM OOTB processes and features. - Proficiency in various publisher licensing models. - Ability to extract data from multiple systems to access information like contracts, purchase records, and license agreements. - Excellent skills in creating process and procedure documents, explaining potential outcomes of each process in SAM. - Familiarity with discovery tools and Service Graph connectors. - Capability to collaborate with stakeholders, implement/develop OOTB SAM Pro Product with minimal supervision. - Strong technical abilities, including scripting, workflow configuration, and business rule development. - Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java Script, Glide Script, and other relevant languages. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in conducting workshops and training sessions for teams to enhance the effective use of ServiceNow ITAM solutions. - Integration experience with third-party tools and data sources using APIs, SCCM, web services, and connectors.
