Project Role : Application Developer Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration Good to have skills : Sybase Database Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Graduate in Engineering preferably in Computer Science Engineering IT ECE or BCAMCA or 3 year Diploma in Computer Science Engineering from university institute recognized by the Govt of India Role - SQL Lead/Database Administrator Roles & Responsibilities: Defining the physical database design & troubleshooting Installation of software and database creation Create definitions of logical data structures, tables, views, indexes, program specification, blocks, stored procedures and define their relationships Implementation and Hardening process document for new DB installation Database Upgrades - Prepare, Test and Implement Databases Database Performance Tuning Database Capacity Management (quarterly) and provide recommendations Database Monitoring and Administration Database Patching and Security (User ID/Access Management) Database Backup, readability and restore for setup Database logs management and maintenance Proactive Space Management (File system / ASM) at DB User account management, monthly database user account validation and privilege management Support during DR test (Quarterly) Database hardening Database/data movement from physical infrastructure to virtual infrastructure or Cloud Data-Space Management DB User account & privileges management Professional & Technical Skills: Should have minimum 10-14 years of experience in relevant technology in a Data Centre environment. Should have experience of onsite work in Data center premises for at least 2 yearsShould have minimum years of experience as mentioned in the skillset given below. Should have expertise in all skills/ experience mentioned for L1 Database Administration Engineer. Knowledge of Data Archival and Purging Process Experience in Oracle partitioning, ASM, encryption and security related products Should have hands on experience in handling VLDB Database at least in 10+TB's. Should have hands on experience in implementing patches and troubleshooting in production environment. Should have hands on experience in managing Oracle RAC and standalone implementations on UNIX, Wintel and Linux environments. Should have extensive knowledge on DB upgrades, HA, DC/DR Switchovers. Should have good experience in Backup and Recovery. Should have hands on experience in installation, configuration and basic troubleshooting Should have good working Knowledge on Performance tuning, Database specific issues and Oracle Networking issues. Should have the knowledge of identifying and resolving Database specific issues during any complete application down issues Should have experience in Audit management, Oracle enterprise tools (OEM), MS SQL Tools and processes etc. Should have hands on experience in standalone and large cluster (Active-Active) SQL installations. Should have worked extensively in high availability environment. Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Database Management of Core Banking/Fintech solutionsMandatory Certification (any one) Oracle Certified Professional or equivalent certifications Must have shills - SQL database , Postgre SQL, Sybase Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle database administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful infrastructure solutions. This position is based at our Mumbai office.
