Project Role : Application Developer Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : Data Analysis & Interpretation Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years of fulltime education Summary :As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with data analysis and interpretation, utilizing your expertise in Packaged Application Development to deliver impactful data-driven solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, utilizing your expertise in Packaged Application Development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications, ensuring high levels of availability and performance. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Expertise in Data Analysis & Interpretation. Good To Have Skills:Experience in Packaged Application Development. Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL or Oracle. Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall. Relevant hands-on experience as Data Analyst Relevant Hands-on experience in DB - Oracle / SQL server to write advanced SQL queries (Stored Proc, Joins, Views, Subquery) and fetch data for analysis and meaningful insights. Able to interpret data and analyze in line with functional and technical specifications. Functional Knowledge on Derivatives, ALM, Liquidity, Financial Asset classes. BI / DW Teradata (Desirable) Work experience in writing the BRD/FRD documents. Agile-SCRUM methodology Business/Data analysis tools like MS VISIO, Advanced Excel. Unix/Autosys knowledge is preferred. Stakeholder management, strong negotiation, and communication skills Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Analysis & Interpretation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
