Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:Azure Landing Zone Support:-Support daily operations and monitoring of Azure Landing Zones.-Help enforce governance and compliance policies using Azure Policy and Management Groups.-Assist in maintaining identity, access, and resource controls across subscriptions.IaaS Support:-Provide basic support for Azure IaaS components such as Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking.-Monitor resource usage and health using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.-Perform routine operational tasks such as VM provisioning, patching, and backup validation.-Log and escalate incidents related to infrastructure performance and availability.PaaS Support:-Assist in the monitoring and basic troubleshooting of Azure PaaS services like App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Azure Functions.-Support DevOps and development teams in application deployments and configuration changes.-Document recurring issues and contribute to the development of standard support procedures.Operational Support:-Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.-Maintain accurate records of tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.-Collaborate with internal teams to improve system reliability and service delivery.-Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, MyWizard.Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.Experience with troubleshooting and resolving application issues.Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance metrics.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.-Microsoft Certified:Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or working towards it.-Exposure to scripting, automation, or infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM, Bicep).-Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident/change/problem management).-Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).\-1–2 years of experience in IT support, cloud operations, or infrastructure roles.-Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services (IaaS & PaaS).-Familiarity with Azure Portal, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.-Strong analytical and communication skills.-Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced cloud environment.
Additional Information:The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS.This position is based at our Bengaluru office.A 15 years full time education is required.
