Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled AppDynamics Specialist to optimize application performance monitoring and ensure the smooth operation of our critical systems. This role involves working with AppDynamics and related technologies, actively contributing to business objectives through meticulous analysis, development, implementation, and troubleshooting within the AppDynamics domain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Platform Implementation & Configuration:

  Design, implement, and configure the AppDynamics platform, including agents (APM, Database, Server, End User Monitoring), controllers, and dashboards, to effectively monitor complex application landscapes.

• Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

  Monitor application and infrastructure performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, anomalies, and performance degradation using AppDynamics insights. Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues.

• Alerting & Reporting:

  Configure custom dashboards, health rules, and alerts within AppDynamics to provide proactive notifications on performance deviations. Generate regular performance reports for various stakeholders.

• Troubleshooting & Optimization:

  Utilize AppDynamics to drill down into code execution, database calls, and infrastructure metrics to troubleshoot application performance issues. Recommend and implement optimization strategies.

• Integration:

  Integrate AppDynamics with other IT operations tools (e.g., ITSM, CI/CD pipelines, log management) to streamline incident management and enhance observability.

• Analysis & Solution Design:

  Analyze application architecture and business requirements to propose and implement effective monitoring solutions using AppDynamics.

• Best Practices & Governance:

  Establish and enforce AppDynamics best practices, naming conventions, and governance standards across monitored applications.

• Collaboration & Support:

  Work closely with development, operations, and SRE teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage, provide training on AppDynamics usage, and assist in performance tuning efforts.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain detailed documentation for AppDynamics configurations, dashboards, alerts, and standard operating procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• AppDynamics Expertise:

  Strong hands-on experience with the AppDynamics platform, including APM, EUM, Server Monitoring, Database Monitoring, and Analytics.

• Application Performance Monitoring (APM):

  Solid understanding of APM concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

• Troubleshooting Skills:

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex application performance issues.

• Technical Foundations:

  Familiarity with application architectures (e.g., microservices, monoliths), web servers, application servers, databases, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).

• Networking Basics:

  Basic understanding of networking concepts as they relate to application performance.

• Scripting (Plus):

  Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks is a plus.

• Communication:

  Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
