Job Title: API Integrator / API Integration Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled API Integrator to design, implement, and maintain seamless integrations between our internal systems and external platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of APIs, data flow management, and secure communication protocols, ensuring our applications communicate efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

1. API Development & Integration

• Design, develop, and implement RESTful and GraphQL API integrations.
• Connect internal systems with third-party platforms (e.g., CRMs, ERPs, payment gateways, or mobile apps).
• Write and maintain integration scripts using JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
• Work with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API keys.
• Manage data synchronization and ensure consistent communication between systems.

2. Data Handling & Transformation

• Map, clean, and transform data between APIs for proper compatibility.
• Handle JSON, XML, or CSV data formats for request/response cycles.
• Validate, sanitize, and securely process incoming and outgoing data.

3. Testing, Monitoring & Debugging

• Test API endpoints using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger.
• Implement automated tests to validate integration accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor API performance, handle version upgrades, and troubleshoot errors.
• Maintain error logs and report integration health to relevant stakeholders.

4. Security & Compliance

• Enforce secure data transmission via HTTPS, SSL/TLS.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization controls.
• Protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

5. Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and mobile development teams to define integration requirements.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and API providers for implementation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain clear, version-controlled API documentation for internal and external use.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
• Proficient in JavaScript / Node.js / Python (other backend languages also welcome).
• Hands-on with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, Insomnia.
• Solid understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and request-response structure.
• Familiarity with authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Auth).
• Knowledge of webhooks, real-time APIs (WebSockets), and API versioning.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated API deployments.
• Understanding of cloud services like AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or Google Cloud Endpoints (preferred).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
