Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Review and monitor daily transactions to identify suspicious or unusual activities.
Conduct detailed investigations on alerts generated by AML systems.
Perform KYC (Know Your Customer), CDD (Customer Due Diligence), and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) checks.
Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) / Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR).
Verify customer identity documents and assess risk levels.
Analyse customer profiles, business activity, and transaction behaviour for compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation of investigations and findings.
Support internal and external audits by providing required data.
Ensure all activities adhere to AML regulations such as FATF, PMLA, OFAC, and local compliance laws.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AML processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or related field.
Knowledge of AML regulations, KYC processes, and financial compliance.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Good understanding of banking transactions and financial products.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to interpret data and identify patterns.
Experience with AML tools like Actimize, SAS, or FircoSoft is a plus.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
