Announcement Draft For the post of IOT Hardware Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a hardware prototype for IoT nodes. An ideal candidate should have a strong background in microcontrollers, wired and wireless protocols, RTOS, and cloud integration.

Role & responsibilities:

1. Developing a hardware prototype for IoT nodes using ESP32, STM32, NRF (the nodes will be enabled with LTE and will also have an array of sensors attached to them).

2. Work on wired and wireless protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HTTP, MQTT, BLE, ESPNOW, etc.

3. Design, develop, and maintain firmware for our IoT device.

4. Work on developing firmware using platforms such as PlatformIO and Arduino IDE.

5. Work closely with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of the firmware with the hardware components.

6. Work closely with the software team to ensure device management, OTA, and dashboard-like services.

7. Test and validate the firmware to ensure functionality and performance.

8. Work on preparing documentation for firmware.

9. Work on writing firmware that is apparent with proper indentation and comments.

10. Work on deploying the said IoT in the field and testing them (this would require the candidate to assemble & deploy such nodes and validate the prototypes).

11. Experience with pcb design tool like Easyeda, kicad, altium.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and IoT with six months of experience in the electronics industry and in developing firmware for IoT devices using microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, NRF modules(ble).
• Freshers can also apply.
