Teaching: Delivering lectures, seminars, and practical training sessions on various aviation topics, such as aviation management, aerospace engineering, air traffic control, airline operations, and more. Curriculum Development: Contributing to the design and revision of aviation-related courses and programs. Research: Conducting research in areas related to aviation, such as safety, air traffic management, aviation economics, and aircraft design. Mentoring: Guiding and mentoring students, providing academic and career advice. Industry Engagement: Maintaining connections with the aviation industry, participating in industry events, and potentially facilitating internships or job placements for students. Professional Development: Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the aviation field through continuous learning and professional development activities. Typical qualifications for aviation faculty: Advanced Degree: A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as aviation management, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline. Industry Experience: Prior experience working in the aviation industry, either in operations, engineering, management, or other relevant areas. Teaching Experience: Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and communicate complex technical and theoretical concepts.
