Animal Nutritionist

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate nutritional needs of animals, considering species, age, health, activity, and reproduction goals.
• Formulate balanced diets and rations that optimize growth, reproduction, health, and performance.
• Analyze feed ingredients for their chemical and nutritional value—protein, vitamins, minerals, fats, etc.
• Conduct research and trials, including laboratory-based studies, to evaluate diet effectiveness.
• Support product development for pet food, livestock feeds, or supplements through technical expertise.
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance in feed formulations, manufacturing, and storage.
• Educate and train stakeholders like animal caretakers, farmers, and clients on proper nutrition practices.
• Experience in formulating diets, performing nutritional analysis, and conducting trials.
• Responsible for Production Supervision and for other compliances related to feed production

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's/Phd in Animal Science, Nutrition, or a closely related field .
• Proven experience in diet formulation, research, and nutrition analysis.
• Strong scientific, analytical, and communication skills.
• Capability to collaborate and educate diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel and visit animal care sites as required.
