Job Summary:

Anaesthetist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ medical history and determine the appropriate anaesthesia plan.
• Administer general, regional, or local anaesthesia before surgical or medical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during surgery and in the recovery room.
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions if needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and anaesthesia documentation.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care discussions with patients and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and medical ethics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MBBS with a specialization in Anaesthesiology (MD/DNB/DA).
• Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council.
• [2+ years] of relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting (can be adjusted based on need).
• Strong knowledge of anaesthetic equipment, drugs, and patient monitoring systems.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in ICU, trauma care, or critical care settings.
• Training in pain management is a plus.
