ANESTHESIA AND OPERATION THEATER TECHNOLOGIST (MALE)

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Operation Theater & Anesthesia Technician to assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures. The role involves preparing and maintaining OT equipment, anesthesia machines, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols. The candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced hospital environment and supporting smooth OT operations. Male candidates are preferred due to shift and OT operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
The OT & Anesthesia Technician will be responsible for preparing the operation theater before procedures, ensuring all surgical instruments, anesthesia equipment, monitors, and consumables are ready and functioning properly. The role includes assisting anesthesiologists during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia, monitoring equipment performance, and handling anesthesia gases and drugs as instructed. The technician will maintain OT sterility, follow infection control protocols, assist in patient positioning and transfer, manage OT inventory, and ensure proper cleaning and turnover of the OT between cases. Prompt reporting of equipment malfunction and compliance with hospital policies and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Operation Theater Technology or Anesthesia Technology from a recognized institution. Prior hospital OT experience is preferred, though freshers with relevant training may also apply. Knowledge of anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and OT protocols is required. The candidate should be physically fit, willing to work in shifts, on-call duties, and emergency situations.

Experience:
1 year of relevant OT or anesthesia technician experience preferred.
