Android Malware Analyst

Role: Android Malware Analyst/Sr Analyst/Lead

Job Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune

Experience: 3 years to 10 years

Mandatory Skills: Android, Malware Analysis, APK/DEX, Java/C++

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth malware analysis and reverse engineering of Android applications (APK, DEX).
• Identify, classify, and document malicious code, threats, and attack vectors.
• Perform second-level threat reviews and provide detailed security analysis reports.
• Research emerging Android threats and propose detection/mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with teams to strengthen Android security and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Android reverse engineering, malware analysis, and threat modeling.
• Proficiency with reversing tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra) and obfuscation analysis.
• Skilled in cryptographic routine analysis, ARM architecture, and Android app development (C/C++/Java).
• Hands-on experience with automated tools, sandboxing, and scripting (Python).
• Solid knowledge of security engineering, authentication, security protocols, and applied cryptography.
