About the Role

Android Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 26 years of professional Android development experience, with

  Front End Development

  experience.
• Strong command of

  Kotlin

  and

  Java

  -

  Mandatory and strong expertise

• Solid understanding of

  Android SDK

  ,

  Jetpack components

  , MVVM/MVI patterns. –

  Mandatory

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit/OkHttp, and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt).
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, Play Store deployment, and A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience working with streaming media players (ExoPlayer preferred).
• Good knowledge of performance optimization and memory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality Android applications.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code following best practices.
• Integrate streaming technologies and optimize playback performance.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug crashes, and ensure app stability across devices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on OTT / media streaming platforms.
• Exposure to Compose UI.
• Understanding of analytics and user engagement tools.
