We wantcandidates with experience in programming, user interfaces, and/or tools supportingapplications on Android using the Android SDK. As SDE I - Android, you will gainexperience in building maintainable and testable code bases, including API designand unit testing techniques. If you are interested in joining a world-class team ofpassionate engineers who work hard and play hard, we look forward to hearing fromyou.What you will doPerform code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to architectural planning andrefactoring.Work on bug-fixing and improving application performance.Design and build new features and improvements for the Android platformMentor interns and support team members.Collaborate closely with QA, Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers across thecompany.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.What you will need BE/BTech/BCA/BSc in any discipline0.3+ years experience in a relevant roleExperience having worked on two or more Android apps in the pastFamiliarity with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and the ecosystemFamiliarity with Material Design guidelines, common mobile UX patterns, and anti-patternsExperience with common Android libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava,Gson Arch-components etc.Experience with different programming paradigms, esp. functional and reactiveprogrammingFamiliarity with consuming REST APIs, and what makes them RESTfulFamiliarity with Git and continuous integrationProficiency at object-oriented programming and multi-threadingUnderstanding of advanced Android concepts like Custom Views, AccessibilityServices,Background processing APIsUnderstanding of different architectural patterns (esp.
