Android Application Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer (Kotlin) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications while collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and design patterns
• Integrate apps with RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Work with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user experiences
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release processes
• Stay updated with the latest Android tools, libraries, and trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–2 years of experience in Android/Kotlin development
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android frameworks
• Experience with:
• MVVM / Clean Architecture
• Coroutines / Flow
• Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, WorkManager)
• Git / Version control
• Experience consuming REST APIs / JSON
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,224.89 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Srinivasa Nagar, Tirumangalam, Madurai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
