Analyst/Senior Analyst Legal & Compliance (Real Estate)

As a talented lawyer joining DESRI India Private Limited in Hyderabad, India, you will be an integral part of the Legal & Compliance team. Your role will involve regular interaction with both U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. Working within a small, inclusive, and highly skilled team, you will support DESRI's portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects in an environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will primarily focus on U.S. real estate matters and supporting a dynamic commercial team at DESRI. You will collaborate with developers, deal teams, project managers, landowners, utility companies, and other attorneys to address various real estate tasks such as acquisitions, leasing of land, managing legal obligations, and engaging with financing entities. Your tasks will include title review, curative work, organizing exceptions into structured spreadsheets, identifying exception types, negotiating agreements with third parties, reviewing site control agreements for M&A transactions, preparing and modifying estoppels and assignment & assumption agreements, drafting notice letters, managing document recording, and contributing to internal training and development. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's Degree in law with a strong academic record and 2-3 years of experience in real estate matters. You should possess well-developed analytical abilities, communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep interest in exploring new areas of the law. A keen sense of judgment, ability to take initiative, and collaborate effectively with colleagues are essential. Previous experience in a law firm or the real estate sector, as well as exposure to the renewable energy sector, would be beneficial for this position.,
