Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the GBM Supervisory Risk and Controls team, which is responsible for managing business controls related to supervisory risks in Equities and Fixed Income Currency & Commodities (FICC) sales & trading activities. Your role will involve designing pre-trade and trade business controls, supporting control implementation processes, developing expertise in business controls, building relationships with various departments, and contributing to strategic initiatives to enhance control effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Design pre-trade and trade business controls for new regulatory implementation and tools supporting supervision framework. - Support systematic pre-trade and post-trade control design, workflows, and processes implementation with Engineering. - Develop subject matter expertise on business controls and investigate and remediate control issues. - Build relationships with Sales/Trading, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations globally to improve First Line control suite. - Formulate, develop, and document control requirements and logics. - Contribute to strategic initiatives to streamline control design, workflows, and processes across obligations. - Analyze data and trends to identify enhancements to existing controls for improved effectiveness. - Participate in cross-functional working groups, drive discussions on supervisory and control solutions, and achieve consensus. - Train impacted Sales/Traders on controls tooling. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree. - 1-3 years of relevant work experience with knowledge of front office supervisory framework or exposure to regulatory implementation. - Good understanding of risk & controls framework across Trading & Sales businesses. - Familiarity with securities markets, derivative products, and Sales & Trading functions. - Prior exposure to regulatory trading obligations. - Ability to work with key stakeholders to define and clarify obligation requirements and demonstrate comprehension of business logic. - Strong project management/organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to identify and articulate complex issues, propose solutions, and escalate as needed. - Expertise in analyzing data to drive decision-making, process redesign, and implementing strategic concepts. - Experience with data blending and data visualization software like Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI (desirable but not required).,
