Job Description

Role Overview: BMS Hyderabad, an integrated global hub, focuses on assisting patients in overcoming serious diseases by developing sustainable and innovative solutions. As the Manager, GPS External Manufacturing Source to Contract, you will collaborate with GPS category leaders and business partners to execute procurement in support of category strategy development. Your role will involve owning and driving the implementation of high-value sourcing projects and contracts while identifying supply optimization opportunities for Bristol-Myers Squibb. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the end-to-end development and implementation of Sourcing and Contracting Strategy, overseeing sourcing events, FMV assessment, and contract negotiations. - Lead short and long-term initiatives that positively impact the organization, including training and development programs. - Conduct supplier performance and relationship management for select categories and suppliers, analyzing contracts and supporting supplier management activities. - Drive/support both procurement-wide and category-specific continuous improvement initiatives, championing process improvements and organizational development efforts. - Partner closely with supporting functions such as Cybersecurity, IT, Data Privacy, and Legal for contract negotiations and compliance. Qualifications Required: - B.S./B.A. degree in Business, Science, or Engineering (desirable). - Minimum of 5 years of work experience with at least 3 years in procurement or relevant experience. - Clear understanding of the supply chain and manufacturing process. - Strong contracting acumen with experience in negotiating complex contracts. - Proficiency in procurement processes, technology, financial analysis, and strategic planning. - Demonstrated ability to partner with internal stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization. - Proficiency in English.
