Analyst - Fund Accounting

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Fund Accounting team as an entry-level associate. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn private equity fund accounting, investor reporting, and compliance processes.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic foundation in finance or accounting and a willingness to develop technical expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and fund structures.

Primary Responsibilities

Fund Accounting Support

• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial and investor reports under supervision.
• Support annual financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
• Help review bank reconciliations and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Support capital activities (calls and distributions) by verifying calculations and documentation.
• Help monitor compliance with fund agreements and policies.

Group Reporting Assistance

• Assist in compiling AUM/FUM data for reporting to Group Finance.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and reporting tasks.

Administrator & Process Support

• Help monitor Fund Administrator deliverables and maintain process documentation.
• Ensure accurate data entry in internal systems and assist in maintaining data integrity.

Learning & Development

• Participate in projects aimed at improving fund accounting processes.
• Gain exposure to private equity structures, fee calculations, and investor reporting standards.

Key Requirements / Qualifications

• Qualification - CA/ACCA/MBA finance
• Experience - Fresher/1+ year of experience into Fund accounting/Audit/Financial analyst/Budgeting.
