As a seasoned professional with 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, visualization, and storytelling, you will play a crucial role in driving G&S Spend Strategies at American Express. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding business objectives, customer needs, and identifying creative ways to leverage existing data capabilities - Developing new analytical solutions to meet the identified needs - Delivering supplier/spend analytics using tools like SQL, Python, and Tableau - Managing end-to-end data analytics charter to generate actionable insights for customers - Conducting deep dive data analysis to find optimal solutions for business problems and presenting them through visualization and storytelling - Managing entire projects, prioritizing deliverables, and effectively connecting with stakeholders - Ensuring seamless tracking of project performance metrics and visibility to senior stakeholders - Conducting ad hoc analysis to develop growth-oriented strategies - Identifying new opportunities and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to design and build insights solutions - Conducting backend data testing/UI testing for smooth and flawless delivery Minimum qualifications required for this role include: - Extensive experience in SQL and Hive - 4+ years of direct experience in Tableau development of sophisticated dashboards with large datasets - Proactive, self-starter with excellent stakeholder engagement skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively - Excellent interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and encourage partners and stakeholders for collaboration and alignment American Express offers various benefits and programs to support the holistic well-being of its employees and their loved ones, including competitive base salaries, bonus incentives, support for financial well-being and retirement, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits, flexible working models, generous paid parental leave policies, access to global on-site wellness centers, free and confidential counseling support, and career development and training opportunities.
