Analyst Configuration Management

As an Analyst in Configuration Management based in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the configuration management process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of IT assets. As a Configuration Management Analyst at Astellas, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), overseeing the discovery process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing configuration management policies and procedures to support IT service management. - Manage and maintain the CMDB for data accuracy and completeness. - Oversee the discovery process to identify and document configuration items (CIs) and their relationships. - Collaborate with teams to gather, validate, and update configuration data. - Conduct audits and reviews of the CMDB and discovery processes. - Develop and implement configuration management policies, processes, and procedures. - Support incident, change, and release management processes with accurate CI data. - Analyze configuration and discovery data for trends and improvement opportunities. - Provide training and support on configuration management and discovery best practices. - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in configuration management or IT asset management. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management processes. - Proficiency in using configuration management and discovery tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
