As an Anaesthetist at our Multi Specialty Hospital in Amritsar, Punjab, you will play a crucial role in administering anaesthesia to patients undergoing various medical procedures. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients before, during, and after surgical interventions. Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary environment. Your key responsibilities will include administering anaesthesia, monitoring patients" vital signs, assessing patients pre-operatively, providing post-operative care, managing anaesthetic equipment, and maintaining accurate patient records. Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, as well as active participation in departmental meetings and continuous medical education activities, are essential aspects of this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold an MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution, along with an MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or equivalent. A valid medical license to practice in India and a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Anaesthetist in a hospital or clinical setting are required. Strong knowledge of anaesthetic techniques, patient monitoring, and critical care management, coupled with excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care, are essential for success in this role.
