Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily safety practices and compliance at the site.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Enforce use of PPE, work-at-height protocols, and safety equipment.
Deliver safety induction, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workers and site staff.
Maintain safety records including accident reports, inspection logs, and incident investigation summaries.
Liaise with client safety representatives and statutory authorities during audits.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Support EHS team in driving a culture of safety across all levels.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical).
Certification in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute (RLI/CLI/State Board).
NEBOSH / IOSH certification
preferred.

Experience:

8-12 years of experience in safety control in
high-rise construction projects
.
Experience in reputed real estate or infrastructure companies
Familiarity with ISO standards, HIRA, and statutory compliance in construction safety.

Key Skills and Traits:

Strong understanding of construction site safety.
Knowledge of work-at-height, formwork, scaffolding, crane & lift safety.
Strong communication and training skills.
Ability to lead safety drills and team briefings.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and assertive in safety enforcement.

Additional Information:

Position requires
on-site presence full-time
.
Must be willing to work in dynamic and high-pressure project environments.
Preference will be given to candidates with
prior experience in Gurgaon or NCR-based projects
.
