AM/DM/MGR- Calibration & Validation

You will be responsible for performing vehicle level calibration and evaluation of HEV/EV systems. This includes planning and executing long-term validation of EV / HEVs, preparing DoE, executing, analyzing, and reporting, performing root-cause analysis of encountered issues, implementing countermeasures during development, conducting performance testing / benchmarking, and creating databases. Additionally, you will work with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for the above development. Key Responsibilities: - Perform vehicle level calibration and evaluation of HEV/EV systems - Plan & Execute long term validation of EV / HEVs - Preparation of DoE, execution, analysis, and reporting - Perform root-cause analysis of the issues encountered - Implement countermeasures during development - Conduct performance testing / benchmarking, and create databases - Work with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development Qualification Required: - Good knowledge of EV/HEV vehicle systems & Powertrain engineering - Good knowledge of high-level performance requirements of vehicles - Exposure to Hybrid / Electric vehicle performance verification and Validation - Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent is required - Experience in vehicle testing on chassis dyno, on road and on test track - Hands-on experience on usage of Chassis Dyno, emission analyzer system, for testing & calibration of Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles for performance and energy efficiency - Exposure to engine/vehicle calibration for FE, Emissions & performance. This includes Fuel Economy/CO2, emission testing as per regulations and engineering standards - Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 038, AIS 039, AIS 040, AIS 102, AIS 048, AIS 137, etc. You are expected to be proactive, excellent in taking initiatives, possess excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, be a self-starter & team player, and should be open to posting anywhere as per the job requirement. Education Qualifications: Essential: - B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication - Minimum 60 % marks Desirable: - M.E / M. Tech in Control Systems / Power Electronics / Mechatronics and project work related to Electric Vehicle / Hybrid Electric Vehicle.,
