AM/DM - Calibration & Validation

As an Electric Vehicle / S-HEV Calibration & Validation Engineer, your role will involve performing vehicle level calibration and evaluation of HEV/EV system. You will be responsible for planning & executing long term validation of EV / HEVs. Your tasks will include preparation of DoE, execution, analysis, and reporting. You will also need to perform root-cause analysis of the issues encountered and implement countermeasures during development. Additionally, you will be involved in performance testing / benchmarking, and database creation. Collaboration with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. - Good knowledge of EV/HEV vehicle systems & Powertrain engineering is required. - Understanding of high-level performance requirements of vehicles is necessary. - Exposure to Hybrid / Electric vehicle performance verification and Validation is essential. - Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent is required for this role. - Experience in vehicle testing on chassis dyno, on road, and on the test track is expected. - Hands-on experience in using Chassis Dyno, emission analyzer system for testing & calibration of Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles for performance and energy efficiency is expected. - Familiarity with engine/vehicle calibration for FE, Emissions & performance is necessary. - Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 038, AIS 039, AIS 040, AIS 102, AIS 048, AIS 137 etc. will be an added advantage for this role.,
