Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Ambulance Driver to join our emergency medical response team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical facilities while supporting paramedics and medical staff during emergency calls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive the ambulance safely and efficiently in compliance with traffic rules and emergency driving protocols.
• Respond promptly to dispatch calls for medical emergencies and patient transfers.
• Assist EMTs/Paramedics in lifting, moving, and securing patients into the ambulance safely.
• Keep the ambulance clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs immediately.
• Ensure medical equipment and supplies are stocked and securely stored.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel, and mileage as per company or hospital requirements.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, family members, and medical personnel.
• Provide basic assistance to medical staff during emergencies as needed (within allowed scope).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10th pass (SSLC) or equivalent education.
• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving an ambulance or emergency vehicle is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Bangalore city routes and traffic patterns.
• Physically fit and able to assist in lifting patients if required.
• Basic understanding of first aid and emergency procedures is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Polite, disciplined, and dependable with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Kannada is required; English or Hindi is an added advantage.
