Ambulance Driver

Role Overview: As an ambulance driver, your main responsibility will be to inspect the ambulance before each shift, checking the fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, and coolant, and reporting any needed repairs. You will also be in charge of checking the first aid and medical supplies inventory levels before each shift and ensuring the ambulance is well-stocked. Assisting patients onto gurneys, loading them into the ambulance, and driving the ambulance safely and quickly to transport patients to the hospital will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, providing first aid or administering oxygen if the patient requires care before reaching the hospital will be essential. Sanitizing the ambulance, disposing of medical waste and soiled linens, and maintaining a driving log with daily entries will also be part of your responsibilities. Reporting accident facts to medical personnel and police officers when necessary is crucial in this role.
