Ambulance Driver

Position: Ambulance Driver
Location: Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive ambulance vehicles for emergency and scheduled patient transport as per hospital protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during transit.
• Assist in safe loading and unloading of patients, stretchers, and medical equipment.
• Keep the ambulance clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with required medical supplies.
• Perform daily checks of the vehicle (fuel, brakes, tires, etc.) and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and hospital policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate records/logbooks of daily trips, fuel usage, and mileage.
• Coordinate with hospital staff, paramedics, and emergency teams efficiently.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls as per duty allocation.
• Handle patients and their families with empathy and professionalism.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must hold a valid Transport (T) Permit Driving License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving an ambulance or working in a hospital setting.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Physically and mentally fit to handle emergency situations.
• Basic understanding of medical emergency protocols (preferred).

Other Requirements:

• Age: Below 50 years.
• Duty: 12-hour shifts (rotational – day and night).
• Willingness to work in a hospital environment and during emergencies.
• Must be punctual, disciplined, and responsible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

• Night shift
• Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
