Prerequisites for the Job Role:

• Experience with computerized ledger/accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Conditional Formatting, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Accounting & Reporting Software (Zoho Books / Tally / SAP preferred).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and maintain MIS dashboards and financial models to support management decision-making.
• Assist in preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) and highlight key performance insights to management.
• Support in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all financial transactions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data for reporting and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.
• Track and report on key operational and financial KPIs.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Provide support during internal and statutory audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Continuously improve reporting processes for accuracy, efficiency, and relevance.
