AM / DM - Process Engineering (PLC Specialist)

Key Responsibilities: - Know and apply the IProM procedure, including the Lean Process Design Methodology for big automation projects - Conduct functional analysis and analyze the operating and stopping modes of equipment - Apply standards in the area of expertise and design electrical and pneumatic plans of equipment - Support actively the ramp-up of new equipment for successful implementation - Create specifications in the area of expertise and manage subcontractors - Monitor equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implement progress actions - Continuously improve equipment reliability, cost, and performance - Work on cycle time reduction, automation projects, and optimizing investments - Support production and maintenance departments to improve MTTR and act for a fast & cost-optimized connection of machines PLC to the MES - Transfer knowledge to production and maintenance teams for improved reactivity - Participate in APU QRQC, work on obsolescence plans, breakdowns risks mitigation plan, and maintain contact with suppliers - Perform benchmarking and market analysis to integrate latest evolutions and trends Qualifications Required: - Experience in industrialization processes and functional analysis - Proficiency in designing electrical and pneumatic plans for equipment - Ability to manage subcontractors and create specifications in the area of expertise - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of Safety and Environment directives, including LOTO - Commitment to improving safety, reducing accident risks, and enhancing 5S practices - Familiarity with PLC systems and automation projects As a dedicated member of the Valeo team, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the mobility sector by designing innovative solutions for greener and more secure mobility solutions.
