Alumni Relations Manager - Alumni Affairs

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mohali district for an Alumni Relations Manager at the Amity Center for Placement and Industry Relations (ACPIR). The Alumni Relations Manager will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with alumni, managing alumni engagement initiatives, coordinating events, overseeing volunteer programs, and leading programs aimed at strengthening alumni involvement in university affairs. The role will also involve strategizing and implementing best practices for alumni communication and collaboration, and serving as a key point of contact for alumni-related activities.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Alumni Relations and Alumni Affairs to foster meaningful connections with former students and maintain an engaged alumni network.
• Excellent Communication and networking skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Experience in Event Planning to organize and execute alumni events and gatherings.
• Proficiency in Volunteer Management to mobilize and coordinate alumni volunteers for university initiatives.
• Organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to developing alumni programs.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or related fields is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a similar field; a master’s degree would be considered a plus.
