Alteryx Developer - Consultant

As a seasoned Lead Alteryx Developer, you will bring strong expertise in data automation, SQL, Excel, and a deep understanding of the financial domain to lead the development of robust data workflows. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver impactful financial insights and reporting solutions by designing, developing, and optimizing complex Alteryx workflows for financial data processing and reporting. You will be required to architect and implement scalable data solutions integrating Alteryx with SQL databases and Excel-based models. Your role will involve ensuring high standards of data quality, governance, and documentation across all workflows, mentoring and guiding junior developers, and promoting best practices in Alteryx development and data management. Automation initiatives to streamline financial reporting and reduce manual effort will be a key focus, along with managing workflow deployment, version control, and performance tuning in enterprise environments. Supporting internal and external audit requirements through accurate data lineage and traceability will also be part of your responsibilities. Your technical skills should include expertise in Alteryx Designer & Server, SQL, Excel, data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, and version control systems. You should have proven ability in stakeholder management, strong communication skills, and experience in gathering and refining requirements through workshops, interviews, and documentation. Comfort with presenting data-driven insights and workflow designs to senior leadership is essential. Having an in-depth understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheets, and variance analysis is crucial. Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or corporate finance environments, along with familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP), will be beneficial. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, along with 6+ years of experience in data analytics or financial data engineering. You should have 6+ years of hands-on experience with Alteryx in a lead or senior developer role, with Alteryx Core and Advanced Certifications preferred.
