Alternative Ops Fund Accounting, Associate

Role Overview: As an Associate for Alternative Investment Services at State Street Global Delivery, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounting and valuations of Private Equity & Hedge Funds for Limited Partners, reporting into an Officer. You will be part of the processing team primarily focusing on meeting SLA's with regards to quality and timeliness for the assigned funds/clients. Working closely with your reviewer and reporting manager, you will contribute to continuous process improvements for the assigned funds/clients and act as a point of contact for client issues and queries. Your role will involve working during US hours and manipulating large sets of data related to fetching PCAP's, Notices, LOD's from GP / IM portals or track them through emails for hefty volumes. Key Responsibilities: - Have 2+ years of experience in Alternative ops - Work with a focus on meeting SLA's for quality and timeliness - Be a quick learner and deliver funds/clients as a processor - Liaise with the reviewer/reporting manager for process improvements - Act as a point of contact for client issues and queries - Interpret PCAP's, ILPA's, Notices & LOD's book capital activities/cash flows - Perform tolerance and validation checks for assigned funds/clients - Possess good understanding of Alternative Investments and accounting standards - Proficiency in Python tools and ability to manage complex data sets - Execute controls, provide sign-off through checklists for assigned clients - Assess issues and relay back to the reviewer Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management - Proficiency in Python tools About State Street: State Street is a leading custodian bank, asset manager, and asset intelligence company globally, providing investment servicing, data & analytics, investment research & trading, and investment management services to institutional clients.
