Technical Support of McDermotts Enterprise Content Management Platform (Alfresco)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on our ECM (Alfresco) platform built on Linux, Window server hosted on AWS.
• Work on Alfresco custom configuration & enhancements based on internal project requirements.
• Perform user administration and support of the Alfresco system for end users.
• Configure and maintain other add-on application running on Alfresco platform.
• Design and develop extensions using Alfresco REST API, Java and JavaScript,
• Configure and update Content Models and metadata properties based on business requirements.
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade Alfresco environments according to the best practices.
• Work with extended IT functional teams as required to provide technical support, troubleshooting and recommendations on Alfresco, find possible workarounds and report root cause analysis.
• Communicate issues and technical roadblocks effectively.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, familiar with agile SCRUM methodology.

Technical Skill Set

• Experience with Alfresco Content Service, Alfresco scheduled jobs, Content modeling, Alfresco governance services, web-scripts, Alfresco Administration (knowledge on all components in Alfresco and troubleshooting including installation)
• Core Java knowledge and programming skills is must.
• Spring Framework, General Spring boot and hibernates knowledge.
• Basic Angular knowledge (Defining components, routes and services)
• Good knowledge on active directory configurations & Workflows
• Solar Administration & Support
• Ability to run and update Linux Shell Scripts
• SQL scripting.
• Ability to trace, log and debug Web applications.
• Good understanding and experience on cloud technology (AWS)

Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or engineering
• Certified in Alfresco (Popular & basic Alfresco certification is must)
• Experienced in Java J2EE, JavaScript, XML, JSON, Web services and REST API
• AWS Solution Architect Associate certified. (AWS EC2, EBS, Aurora MySQL, S3, CloudFormation)
