Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level technical guidance and support for IBM AIX operating system and storage infrastructure.
Design, implement, and maintain IBM AIX and storage solutions.
Troubleshoot complex IBM AIX and storage issues.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure IBM AIX and storage infrastructure meets business requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation for IBM AIX and storage procedures.
Install, configure, and manage IBM AIX operating system.
Design, implement, and manage storage solutions using IBM Storwize, IBM DS8000, and IBM Tape Storage.
Troubleshoot storage issues, including performance and availability. Implement and manage storage security, including access control and encryption.
Monitor and optimize storage performance and capacity.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

5+ years of experience with IBM AIX operating system and storage technologies.
In-depth knowledge of IBM AIX and storage technologies, including IBM Storwize, IBM DS8000, and IBM Tape Storage.
Troubleshoot IBM AIX issues, including performance and security.
Implement and manage IBM AIX security, including access control and auditing.
Upgrade and migrate IBM AIX systems.

Mandatory Certification in IBM AIX

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of Scripting /Automation of daily operational tasks.
