About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Organizational Leadership

• Define and execute the

  AI/ML roadmap

  in alignment with business and digital transformation goals.
• Build and lead the

  AI/ML Center of Excellence (CoE)

  to drive innovation and reusability across projects.
• Collaborate with CXOs, clients, and business heads to identify new AI/ML-led growth opportunities.
  

2. Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Oversee

  end-to-end delivery

  of AI/ML projects from data collection, modeling, and deployment to post-production monitoring.
• Provide hands-on guidance in

  NLP, Computer Vision, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI

  .
• Leverage modern AI frameworks and tools

  Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLflow, OpenAI, LangChain

  , etc.
• Ensure

  MLOps governance

  , automation, and scalability across AI deployments.

3. Team & Capability Development

• Hire, mentor, and grow a strong team of

  Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Architects

  .
• Create structured learning paths, certification goals, and a culture of

  continuous innovation

  .
• Foster collaboration across data engineering, analytics, and AI research functions.
  

4. Delivery Excellence & Quality Governance

• Define and monitor KPIs around AI model accuracy, scalability, and ROI.
  
• Establish

  best practices in AI delivery methodologies

  , project estimation, and quality management.
• Drive delivery excellence with measurable impact on client outcomes.
  

5. Pre-Sales, Thought Leadership & Business Growth

• Support the sales and delivery teams in

  client proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and demos

  .
• Develop AI solution accelerators, proof-of-concepts, and innovation showcases.
  
• Identify and pursue

  new business opportunities

  through AI/ML capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in

  Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field

  ; Ph.D. preferred.
• 15+ years of overall experience with

  7+ years in AI/ML leadership

  roles.
• Strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML programs.
  
• Proficient in

  Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLflow, Power BI/Tableau

  .
• Deep understanding of

  cloud AI platforms

  Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI.
• Hands-on experience with

  Generative AI, LLMs, and MLOps frameworks

  .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience in setting up or leading an

  AI/ML Center of Excellence

  is highly desirable.

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate / Data Scientist Associate
  
• AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
  
• Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer
  
• Executive AI/ML programs from IIM, ISB, or top global universities
