As an AI/ML Scientist on the Global Data and Analytics (GDA) team at A.P. Moller - Maersk, your primary focus will be on supporting the development of strategic recommendation systems that provide actionable insights to enhance supply chain execution and enable innovative service offerings for both internal stakeholders and external customers. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models, conducting deep data analysis, and integrating advanced techniques like transformers, GANs, and reinforcement learning into scalable production systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to support decision-making with data-driven insights - Build and validate predictive models, support experiment design, and integrate advanced techniques like transformers, GANs, and reinforcement learning - Solve complex problems using NLP, deep learning, optimization, and computer vision - Write reliable code with automated tests, contribute to debugging and refinement - Document methods and results clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact AI/ML solutions **Qualifications Required:** - BSc/MSc/PhD in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or related discipline - 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science - Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Python, and SQL - Strong experience with simulation methods and respective Python libraries - Proven track record in working with large datasets and big data technologies - Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences - Highly analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and self-motivated attitude **Additional Details:** A.P.
