Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI, NLP, and Azure AI services. In this role, you will design AI-driven automation solutions, modernize legacy SAS systems, optimize migration workloads, and ensure governance compliance across critical datasets.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Script Analysis

• Build NLP models for SAS script classification by business relevance, regulatory impact & technical complexity
• Automate metadata generation (ownership, lineage, usage patterns)

Agentic AI Automation

• Develop AI agents to detect redundant scripts, overlaps & migration risks
• Build recommendation engines for migration prioritization

Migration Optimization & Modernization

• Create algorithms for script consolidation & scope reduction
• Integrate with Azure AI for scalable execution

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure outputs adhere to GDPR, IFRS17 & enterprise governance
• Build traceable audit-ready lineage mapping

PoC Development & Collaboration

• Set up Azure AI sandbox for experimentation
• Validate models using pilot datasets (e.g., 70+ SAS master scripts)

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering (GenAI, Agentic AI, NLP)
• Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, embeddings, prompt engineering
• Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, ML Studio, Cognitive Services
• Strong SQL (joins, CTEs, optimization)
• Experience with SAS, modernization or migration (added advantage)

Domain Knowledge

• Data governance, metadata management
• Regulatory standards (GDPR, IFRS 17)
• Experience in insurance/finance
