Role Summary AI Robotics Intern:
As an AI Robotics Intern at xIoTz, you ll be at the intersection of AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics working on projects that push the boundaries of defense, security, and autonomous systems.
You won t just be coding in isolation you ll get hands-on exposure to real-world robotics challenges like computer vision, navigation, multi-sensor fusion, and AI-powered decision-making for autonomous robots.
This internship is designed for builders, problem-solvers, and tinkerers who want to learn by doing, experiment with cutting-edge AI models, and see their work come alive on actual robotic platforms.
What You ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and deploy
AI/ML models
for computer vision, NLP, and robotics. - Work on
image/video analysis
with OpenCV, YOLO, and deep learning. - Build and integrate
LLMs
using LangChain, Ollama, or similar frameworks. - Develop and maintain
data pipelines
for AI training and deployment. - Process
multi-sensor data
(LiDAR, camera, IMU, sonar, acoustic). - Contribute to
autonomous robotics modules
perception, navigation, decision-making. - Support AI for
cybersecurity use cases
like anomaly detection and phishing defense. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and deploy AI models in
real-world environments
. - Collaborate with senior engineers, researchers, and robotics experts on
end-to-end systems

Technical Requirements:
Programming Python 3.x (write clean, modular code)
Computer Vision OpenCV, YOLO, image processing, object detection
LLMs & NLP LangChain, transformer-based models, multilingual NLP
Deep Learning PyTorch or TensorFlow, CNNs, RNNs, modern architectures
Data Processing Pandas, NumPy, feature engineering, preprocessing
Deployment TensorFlow Serving, Docker, AWS SageMaker, or GCP AI Platform
LLM Frameworks Ollama or similar emerging frameworks
Cloud AI Services AWS, GCP, or Azure ML services
Version Control Git, GitHub workflows, CI/CD basics
Methodologies Agile development, sprint-based teamwork
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Background Currently pursuing/completed B.Tech / M.Tech in CSE, AI/ML, Robotics, or related field
Strong Fundamentals Data structures, algorithms, linear algebra, probability, optimization
Robotics Interest Passion for autonomous systems, mechatronics, or sensor fusion
Hands-On Comfortable with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Jetson, or similar hardware
Sensors Knowledge LiDAR, Camera, IMU, Sonar, Radar basics
Communication Able to present technical ideas clearly, work in cross-functional teams
Startup Mindset Ownership-driven, problem solver, thrives in fast-paced environments
Security Awareness Basic understanding of cybersecurity for AI/robotics systems
Collaboration Eager to work with AI engineers, roboticists & defense experts

AR/VR/MR Interfaces building immersive operator dashboards or telepresence systems.
Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) designing intuitive control systems & safety layers.
