Job Description

Job Summary

Were looking for a PL/SQL Developer who can design, develop and maintain database objects and ensure smooth data operations across applications. The role needs solid hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning and understanding of business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and views. Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance. Design data models and support schema changes when needed. Work with application teams to integrate database logic with backend services. Debug production issues related to SQL queries or database processes. Write clean, reusable and well-documented PL/SQL code. Support data migration, ETL jobs and batch processing. Ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with internal standards.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development. Solid understanding of SQL tuning, indexing strategies and execution plans. Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or higher. Good knowledge of database design, normalization and ER modeling. Experience working with large datasets and high-volume transactional systems. Familiarity with ETL processes and scheduling tools. Ability to troubleshoot database performance and application integration issues.

Good to Have

Experience with Unix shell scripting. Knowledge of Python or any scripting language for automation. Familiarity with cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL).

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
