AI & ML Engineer

As an AI Engineer specializing in GenAI & ML Solutions at a leading global credit rating and financial analytics organization, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation in finance technology with exposure to cutting-edge GenAI techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deploy advanced AI solutions using the latest Generative AI techniques, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and designing Agentic AI systems to automate complex decision-making workflows. You will also be tasked with fine-tuning Foundation and Small Language Models (SLMs) tailored for domain-specific content generation and building scalable AI workflows while adhering to robust engineering and code quality standards. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end AI solution development lifecycle, from prototyping and experimentation to deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Collaboration with cross-functional global teams, including financial analysts, technology architects, and client stakeholders, will be essential to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions. Additionally, you will continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and research to ensure that the organization's AI toolkit remains state-of-the-art. To be successful in this position, you should possess 4 to 7 years of experience in software engineering/development with a minimum of 2 years specializing in AI/ML roles. Deep hands-on expertise with GenAI technologies, strong programming skills in Python, and proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms are required. Exposure to NLP, knowledge graphs, ML ops, or similar related areas would be a significant advantage. Effective communication skills, the ability to collaborate across global teams, and handle client interactions are also important traits for this role. A Bachelors or Masters degree from premier Indian institutes in Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields is preferred.
